Roofing Contractor
Newport, KY
Roofing for Newport's steep older houses and later inland streets, across the river from AJL's Cincinnati office.

Residential work by AJL Group. Photos are from our Cincinnati-area projects, not labeled as a specific Newport job.
Newport is the Campbell County city directly across the Ohio River from downtown Cincinnati. It is one of the Northern Kentucky communities the service-area page already lists. The shop is at 2701 Spring Grove Ave, a short trip across the river, and the response window is 24-48 hours.
East Row and the Mansion Hill streets are 19th-century brick houses with steep gables. Those roofs are commonly asphalt now, tied into old chimneys and step flashing against brick, with tight side yards and little room for a dumpster. Streets farther from the river are later houses with ordinary gable pitches, still mostly asphalt shingle.
River humidity sits on these roofs, and the hail and wind that hit Cincinnati cross the river with them. On a steep older house the leak usually starts at flashing, a chimney, or a gutter that was sized for a different roof, not in the middle of a wide shingle field. Winter ice can back up at those same eaves.
What We Do
Services We Offer in Newport
Roof Replacement
Tear-offs on steep Newport gables, including the flashing and chimney work a brick house needs. GAF certified shingles where asphalt is the right roof.
Roof Repair
Chimney flashing, step flashing against brick, and valley leaks on older steep roofs. Storm calls are hail and wind off the river, plus ice at the eaves.
Siding
Cladding where the house is not bare brick. Vinyl and fiber cement on later Newport streets, matched to walls that already deal with river humidity.
Gutters
Gutters for steep roofs that dump a hard rain all at once, including houses that still have a tight original eave line.
Decks
Small-lot decks and repairs where the yard is a hillside or a narrow backyard, not a subdivision acre.
Exterior Services
Fascia, soffit, and trim on older eaves. The detail work that shows up once the roof and the gutter are open.
